The merger of legal entities “Eurasian Engineering Association” was established on May 30, 2022. The Non-profit partnership “Eurasian Engineering Association” is a union of organizations in the field of engineering and design. The purpose of creating the Association is to create favorable conditions for the dynamic and sustainable development of member companies.
1. Legal Support
The main direction of the Association’s activity is participation in the rulemaking process and protection of the rights and legal interests of its members in the state bodies.
The Association is constantly working to improve the legislation and regulatory framework for environmental management regulating the activities of the Association members, participates in the development of draft laws and regulations affecting the interests of its members.
The Association promptly informs its members about important changes in legislation, informs government agencies about opinions and problems of companies and, if necessary, provides a platform for direct dialogue with government agencies.
2. Oil & Gas Sector
The main purpose of the Association is to work to create the right conditions for the dynamic and sustainable development of the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Association is engaged in developing proposals for amendments and additions to the Code on Subsoil and Subsoil Use, Uniform Rules for Rational and Integrated Subsoil Use, and other by-laws, as well as drafting bills and regulations in the oil and gas sector.
3. Ecology and Environmental Protection
The Association is actively involved in environmental protection issues, development of proposals for legislative regulation of relations in the sphere of ecology and environmental protection, elaboration of proposals on making amendments and addenda to the Environmental Code, and drafting bills and by-laws on ecology and environmental protection, development of scientific and technological innovation projects aimed at creation and use of environmentally sound technologies.
4. Financial and economic activities of the Association’s enterprises
The priority task of the Association is to create favorable conditions for economic development of its members.
The Association is actively involved in the development of proposals for changes and amendments to the Tax Code, the Law of RK ‘On Natural Monopolies’.
Members of the Association are members of the working groups of the Ministries of Energy, Environment and Natural Resources, Industry and Infrastructure Development, Environment, National Economy, Finance, as well as of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Members of the Association are accredited as subjects of scientific and (or) scientific-technical activity and carry out research and development work, assign the rights to the results of intellectual activity to subsoil users, properly register and put them on the balance sheet of the enterprise.
The Association and Association members have work experience and successful projects in the field of digital business transformation:
Members of the Association have successfully implemented projects on the development and implementation of new business models, as well as optimization of operational activities through the introduction of digital technologies for managing the company and production and technological processes based on data.
Employees of the Eurasian Engineering Association are permanent members of the working groups on resource management at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE),have international certificates for calculating and auditing reserves using the SPE PRMS system.
Members of the Association have significant experience in, preparation of research works, analytical studies in the field of field geophysical works, including seismic exploration at oil and gas sites and fields of the Republic of Kazakhstan, development of technical and basic projects of oil and gas sector, economic efficiency evaluation of investment projects at various stages of project development and implementation, from implementing various geological and technical measures and introduction of new equipment and technology in oil.
